The fruits of the bees' labour (all 35kgs of it!!) will be ready to be bottled on Sunday, the 16th of February from 2 - 5pm. This is a fun day and is a great way for kids to get involved too! Learn the process of processing honey, from filtering through to bottling, and feast on fresh hot pikelets dripping with delicious, gooey and super fresh honey.
This event will go ahead rain, hail or shine as it is an indoor event that will be held in the hall adjacent to the garden.
The honey is only harvested once or twice a year so do not miss this opportunity to get in on the action! Honey is one of the garden's biggest revenue raisers and is a great way to get involved.
