It's run a little overtime considering our original estimates, but it is also three times as big and better than our original plans, thank to the grants and assistance we have received from Lane Cove Council, HydoMasta and SumoSalad. These partners have been truly instrumental in allowing us to create this amazing set-up. Huge, massive due credit also to the members who put in literally months worth of conceptualising and hard labour to get it all up and running!
A huge shout out to Trevor from HydroMasta who was so generous in lending his expertise and also in donating so much equipment and supplies to our garden. This man is truly a saint! His business HydroMasta provided all of the growing infrastructure free of charge, which equals over $4,000 worth of equipment donated by Trevor’s business. He has also spent many hours setting it up for us and working with other members of the garden to make it happen.
Trevor has been instrumental in fostering our new relationship with Sumo Salad, who are taking a keen interest in all things green and community. Sumo Salad will be blogging about our garden, including this aquaculture set-up, so stay tuned for their updates!
The whole system looks (and will taste) AMAZING! do come by the garden to check it out and make sure you support our sponsors by eating lots of salad from SumoSalad and kitting yourself out with a highly productive aquaponics system from HydroMasta!
Thanks for the photos and info for this post, Roman!
